Just wondering if there is any danger in taking Synthroid with AD's namely amytriptiline.

As always the research sometimes say's it is great...sometimes not so. It shouldn't harm to try, but just make sure your doc monitors your thyroid condition. I thought T3 was the big augmentor....oh well. Worth a shot. (I am sorry..unless you are on Synthroid for a chronic condition.) Anyhow...either way...all the best!

I take synthroid and cytomel with antidepressants, but don't know specifically about amytriptiline. Try looking in psychopharmocology tips.
