Hi all! A couple of weeks ago my son, who is taking 160mg of geodon, was still experiencing agitation- he takes geodon for psychosis. I had in the back of my mind thought that 100mg of seroquel would probably help. He had been on seroquel before, but it didn't do much for the psychosis. I called the pdoc, and he suggested the same thing!! He said to give my son 100mg of seroquel with the daytime dosages of geodon, and then give 200mg of seroquel at night also. So now Evan takes 160 of geodon, and 400 of seroquel- and it has made a difference. All the literature I have read says that this will not benefit- using two together like that- well thank goodness our pdoc doesn't think that way. We were going to switch to clozaril, but we are holding off for now. I have also read on this board about others benefiting from two AP's taken together. I am still not sure how this works? Thanks for any thoughts, Karen Curtis
