I've been on Zoloft for almost 2 yrs. My mood is ok, but motivation/drive stinks. Having read about Adrafinil here, I ordered some and got the liq. Deprenyl (Selegilene) too.
Have taken 1 tab Adrafinil the past 2 days, had some nervousness, yesterday took 1 drop (1mg) of the Deprenyl also and felt pretty strange.....
Any help appreciated.

> Any help appreciated. You potentially could have a life-threatening reaction by adding the MAOI (deprenyl) to your Zoloft. I know very little about Adrafinil, but I wouldn't take any more of the Selegiline until you have consulted with a doctor.

I haven't repeated the Cyprenil, and the past 2 days took only a half tablet of Adrafanil. No problem, seem to notice some benefit.
I only took ONE MG. once.
The deprenil literature I read, says it doesn't become a MAIO inhibitor unless doses exceed 20-30mg/day. That's with respect to the "cheese effect" How is it different with an SSRI?

I should think you would be better off adding Wellbutrin to the Zoloft. It can make a great combination, and the Wellbutrin can increase your energy and reduce the sexual side-effects of Zoloft. Provigil is reasonable choice, though. I hope it works out for you. I would hold off on the deprenyl for now. Be warned, though: I am not a doctor, and I don't have a crystal ball. I wish I did. Well, on second thought, I'm probably better off being blind and optimistic.
