Hi,
I have a quite difficult question. I had a trial of sulpiride for dysthymia/depression a few months ago.
But it was too short for efficacy. I took 200mg/day.
It caused much sexual dysfunction for me because of too much prolactin. Now I want to try amisulpride for dysthymia. What are your experiences with it and does it cause less elevation of prolactin (less sexual dysfunction) in low doses (100mg/day I believe) than sulpiride? Perhaps it is important: I`m male. Thanks for responses and my English is not the best

My trial was for about three or four weeks, but mainly because of sexual dysfunction I changed then to mirtazapine.I was for about three month on it but I gained 10 pounds on it. I take now imipramine 150mg/day and I lost 6 pounds. But so far as for many on this board it is not what I expected from it. Imipramine also causes sexual dysfunction perhaps not as bad as a SSRI. Now I don`t know what to try next. Probably an antipsychotic ( risperdone, amisulpride, Zyprexa...). Any tipps from someone?
Thanks
