i take 150mg a day. what kind of harm can this do to me. i am also on valpric acid.

Do you mean Zoloft? Do a search on this board for lots of personal experiences, check the product literature that should be included in your Rx, search the web, ask your doc!
Zoloft and many related SSRIs (notably Prozac) can cause permanent skin damage (from my wife's personal experience). Only a small percentage of people get severe skin problems, but can be very nasty for the few.
