>I went from 150mg to 300mg two weeks ago. The headaches are better and the sweating is better but I was also concerned about such a jump. I did feel a little better after a cup or two of coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. For some reason it helped the anxiety and shaking. I was ready to drop back down but it did get better after 1 1/2 weeks. I felt a little dizzy today but I am still almost over the initial side effects. You will feel real tired for the first few days but hopefully your energy will increase like mine. I am glad I went to the 300mg. Hope it works for you too! Take care.

WHy the need to jump the dosage so drastically. You would have experienced less side effects if you would have gone up 75mg at a time. Venlafaxine takes four days to reach steady blood plasma levels. If you were tolerating 225mg after four days then you could have gone up to 300mg and experienced less side effects.
Mind you, I went from 225 - 375mg with little or no side effects.
