I ran out of moclobemide, and then went on Bromocriptine to see if I could get the same effect I got on Moclobemide. Bromocriptine seems to have half the effect of Moclo at one week of high dosing (40 mg Bromo per day). And it makes me teary-eyed in joy over a lot of things. But my depression still peeks out on Bromocriptine. I really need the Moclo to survive.

Sal,
You haven't been yourself, do you know that? I'm recognizing a little of my own hypomania in your posts this week. . .Are you running these meds by yourself? Even I, in my *vast* wisdom, have been known to stub my toe on that one. (Don't quote me.)
What I'm saying is, check it out with somebody, okay? Feels like too many changes too fast. I know that's a temptation when one is desperate. There's no easy answer. Just patience. . .patience.
Be okay,
Zo

Sal,
You might consider doing what I do. That is, when I am down to a one month supply of a foreign medication, order some more. In addition, keep enough onhand to last several months. This way you will not run out. Just keep getting more every month until you have a large reserve.Several people here have pointed out strange observations in your behavior. If those observations are true, it is likely that you would not yourself recognize them. Usually outsiders notice behavioral changes before the patient does. But if the observations are true, then it seems to me that one of my favorite drugs, Zyprexa, could be considered as an add-on to your Moclobemide.
