Omega-3 trial for BPII - Rx by pdoc - in progress!

It's been a week now on my pdoc's Omega-3 protocol for BPII. Will post progress here.

For anyone interested, the Omega-3 used must contain EPA to DHA in a 2 to 1 ratio. . & can be ordered from omegabrite.com. About a 60-70% success rate. My pdoc is a med (usually drug!) expert, so am taking this seriously.

Protocol is:
Week 1 - 4 caps 2x day
Week 2 - 5 caps 2x day
Week 3 - 6 caps 2x day

Iimprovement, if any, occuring between weeks 2 and 3.

Wish me luck - and let me know if anyone's tried this!

Same ones I've been taking for a long time: Effexor, Neurontin, Synthroid and Cytomel, and various benzos to get to sleep (I switch them around.)

We're looking for a replacement for the lovely 6 months I had on Zyprexa - minus the horrendous weight gain and Insulin Resistance. Neither Geodon nor Risperdal were tolerable *or* worked.
