Apologies because I can barely type, I feel so low.
Been on the med merry go round for nearly a year now with no remission from unipolar ( I think)severe depression and horrible anxiety.
Despite two recent attempts to restart paxil (failed due to severe agitation, although paxil has worked for me previous to this episode) my new p doc wants to switch me from dothiepin (2 weeks at 75mg...the usual disabling side effects) to an immediate 40mg dose of paxil and 10mg 3xdaily chlorpromazine).
Something tells me this is crazy? Any feedback much appreciated.

nothing sounds crazy when you are talking about feeling better. i went through about 6 months of trying different combinations of drugs. just keep trying and pay close attention to how you feel. good luck.
i wish i could comment on the chlorpromazine, but i don't know much about it.
