27 yr. old male prescribed celexa for depression. 180lbs. I've been taking 10 mg for 7 days. The meds whizzed me for a while (3 days), now I'm lethargic. I 've read that 10mg is a very small dose. I expect to be bumped up to 20 in another week. What is the typical timeline of effects for this drug? physical, mental. I can already feel a mood stabilization.
Regards,
Tippin

> TippinHi, I felt pretty zippy at first but after awhile I felt good without the euphoria, had trouble sleeping though and now take 15mg of Remetron at night and am doing well. When you get up to 20mg of Celexa daily (that is what I take) keep in mind that 40 mgs cost the same and are easily broke in half. My Dr. agreed it makes sense to save $$$. Good luck...Sandhi

21 yr. old male here, switching from Prozac 80mg to Celexa 40mg. Haven't started the Celexa yet (still transitioning from the Prozac), but will let you know how I react to it.
