Can folks on Prozac help me out a little with their experiences? I don't anticipate having too much trouble since I just switched directly from Celexa, but would greatly appreciate any info. Thus far am experiencing nausea and "heavy headedness" (am on 40 mg).
Thanks!

Prhaps should wean down on the Celexa while starting the Prozac. 40 mgs is a very high dose to start at. You might want to reconsider the start dose for the first week or two. The headaches eventually go away. Good luck.

Agree - 40 mgs is high for a start.

I tried 20mg of prozac for about 3 weeks and had to go off because of the headaches. everything else was fine. i had debilitating headaches that would usually occur on only one side of my head.
i would be curious to know if these do go away and when. apart from the headaches, prozac seemed pretty effective.
i didn't have the nausea that you were complaining about, however, i started on a lower dose. good luck. if you can make it through the headaches, prozac really helped my mood.
