I've been on Zoloft 50mg for the last couple of months without much effect. I'm now going up to 100mg and I was wondering, does the higher dosage take at least 3-4 weeks to kick in like when you initially start the drug?

Jackie,
I started at 50, then 100, then 150, then 175, and now 200mg. For me, nothing much happened until 100mg, and it hit me like a rock. Further increases had little noticeable affect for a while. So, YMMV. I think the side effects will hit you first, and the AD effects will come later, after some weeks.

What do you mean by, 'it hit you like a rock?'
