Hi All.
I have just begun taking Mianserin. I am only taking 20mg per day and am supposed to work my way up to 60mg within a couple of weeks.
Even 20mg taken at night leaves me feeling groggy and sedated all next morning and most of the whole day. Will this last or does it diminish over time? Is there anything I could take/do in the morning to reverse the sedation? Coffee is not strong enough.Thanks.

You might have your doctor prescribe a stimulant such as modafinil or methylphenidate.
Is Mianserin like mirtazapine, in that the side-effects decrease as the dosage is increased?
