Paxil-Hand Tremors

This is bad. I can hardly type. I've never reactedt his strongly to a med before. God I hope it stops soon.
Anyone else had this, and how long did it last?

Tina,

I understand all too well. My zoloft causes the same problem, and also my depakote. I can say that at least for zoloft, after 2 years it has somewhat subsided. I still have great trouble sometimes, though. My signature changed enough that a clerk refused my credit card purchase and called a manager over for approval.

Good luck, and try to relax. I find it the absolute worst when I am even slightly nervous, such as when someone is watching over my shoulder while I type. A drug, Inderal (propranolol) will stop the tremor, but it also blocks the AD effect, so it should only be used sparingly if at all.

Paxil is known to induce Extrapyramidal symptoms. If that bothers you, switch to Celexa.
