Anxiety and amisulpride/adrafinil

Posted by grunter on January 22, 2001, at 20:17:50

Seeing all these posts about amisulpride/adrafinil got
me excited about them. However, I have BAD anxiety.
Does anyone know if these drugs will worsen or improve
my anxiety? Thanks.

These drugs could go either way. They could worsen anxiety, or they could make it a lot better. Even though they are stimulative, side effect labels do mention 'inner tension' as a possible side effect, and one normally thinks of stimulating meds as being associated with anxiety, I personally have found these meds actually create stimulating with a sense of relaxation and calm simultaneously. Kind of hard to describe.

I could easily envision a situation where you experience worsened anxiety during the first couple days, and then a 'motivated comfort' taking over after that, without the anxiety. That kind of scenario would not surprise me.
