I've been trying to access the NIMH website and I get a dialog box that says a network password is required, and I am unable to view anything at all on the site. I tried logging in as "guest", which works on some systems, but no go.
I searched the archives here for info, but couldn't find anything. My url is correct. I looked all over the NIH site using their search engine, and couldn't find anything either. I was able to connect to many other NIH sites.
What am I missing?

Mary--
If you go to the NIH site, click on "Institutes" and select NIMH from the list, you'll see that the NIMH server is down ("experiencing technical difficulties"). My guess is that the password screen is either for their intranet or for techie types to assist in the "fix" remotely. Regardless, that screen will be gone as soon as the server is back up--restricted access is NOT SOP for NIMH.
Well wishes---medlib
