I have been on effexor for a couple of months, I have constant yawning and a ache of the left eye. Are these common symptoms however the anxitey is down.

I have not experienced that. I had nausea, vivid dreams, loss of appetite and a little insomnia. Talk to your doc who could tell you more, but Effexor is a great drug!!
