Lynn,
I track people's responses to amisulpride. Amisulpride can, on occassion, cause weight gain, but if it does, it is usually only a moderate amount. There are exceptions though.
Of greater concern for women though is the good chance that it will cause missed menses, breast swelling and other symptoms of raised prolactin levels. Therefore I suggest that any women who takes amisulpride be prepared to take pramipexole or bromocriptine in conjunction with the amisulpride in order to maintain normal prolactin levels and eliminate these side effects along with any tendency towards weight gain. For an info. piece on amisulpride email me andrewb@seanet.com.

Thanks for the info on Amisulpride. I think I will pass on trying this one. The side effects are not worth it. Thanks for letting me know before I ordered any!Lynne
