> djdj, Effexor-XR has really helped me with depression and OCD. Serozone helps me with social anxiety and "takes the edge off" the Effexor (which seems stimulating). Seroquel helps me SLEEP and to think much more clearly, and makes me feel much less anxious.--Cindy W

I have posted this elsewhere but here goes again.
Depakote and seroquel have helped me a great deal with general anxiety and stress. They also help me sleep, which used to be a terrible problem for me. -SGH

> Depakote and seroquel have helped me a great deal with general anxiety and stress. They also help me sleep, which used to be a terrible problem for me. -SGHseroquel(50-75) is the best and only effective sleep med i've ever taken. in minute doses, and i mean minute, (12.5 mg) it can help me focus, although it also can be sedating, even with that little.
klonopin is good for panic attacks and general stress relief, although too much and it can zonk me. my p-doc today suggested i try xanax for panic attacks or exreme anxiety.
high amounts of wellbutrin sr(450 mg) coupled with 30 mg of eldepryl has been good, but not great, for depression. it may help my ocd some, but not much. when my ocd started getting out of control, i asked my p-doc if i could add a small amount of ritalin (10 mg every four hours) since it seemed that my ocd going off the deep end was prompted by a kind of internal panic at my lack of focus. thought maybe the ritalin would help the focus, and then the ocd would calm down. p-doc gave the green light, and it worked. also made me feel less depressed.

Prozac has helped me the most with general anxiety, OCD, and depression. I was more energetic, focused and better able to concentrate when I was taking it. Unfortunately, at 60 mg, the side effects were bothersome. Since I haven't found anything that works better, I may yet go back to it.

Have any of you noticed your outlook, motivation, focus and ability to work improve and if so to what do you attribute that??? Specific meds and/or other changes in circumstances??
For those who have already commented, if you are functioning well now what draws you back to PB? And has it been generally smooth going since you established the right mix? And did it take long to establish that mix? And if it did to what do you attribute that - faulty diagnosis, excess senstivity to other ADs or what?
