I was recently put on 100 mg of Wellbutrin daily for a mild
case of depression. Additionally, I take 30 mg of Paxil
daily for OCD.
At any rate, I've been taking Wellbutrin for almost 3 weeks
now. I had my cholesterol levels checked 2 days ago and
my cholesterol and triglyceride levels have almost doubled
since June.
Does anyone know if there is any relationship between
Wellbutrin and elevated cholesterol and triglyceride levels?
Thanks!

>I've been on WB for about 4 years or so now, and to my knowledge, it's had no effect on my cholesteral level which tends to be quite low. It's not something that is checked with great regularity, but I do know that it has been checked at least a couple of times since I started on WB and I know the results were not in any way notable. ksvt
