'I can see clearly now ...'

Posted by kazoo on November 2, 2000, at 19:36:06

A man walks into his doctor's office for a physical.
The doctor tells him to remove his clothes, and then leaves the room.
When the doctor returns, he sees the man standing there with nothing on
except cellophane wrapped around his middle as underwear.
The doctor says, "Well, Mr. Jones, I can clearly see your nuts!"

Umm, this has little to do with the original thread, but here it goes : ).

The only reason why someone would take ephedrine is for a stimulant effect semi-similar to amphetamines. It's much weaker and has a lot more side effects such as shakiness, rapid hearbeat, and irritability. If taken in small quantities, it can be helpful if you absolutely must stay awake for something but it is kind of a harsh energy booster. It's the starting compound for manufacturing aphetamines, especially methamphetamine.

I occasionally use it for the same purpose people take Vivarin or Nodoz. Caffeine just makes me grumpy and sleepy. Ephedrine also puts me in a bad mood but it does keep me up if I need it (long car rides, etc).

Why do you ask?

This is the end of the thread.
