I have been on Prozac for several years and it has worked better than any other med I've been on. It has never worked 100 percent for me but I was able to cope with my depression. Just recently I had a minor head injury and my prozac has stopped working. My primary care physician does not think that my injury has anything to do with the return of the depression. My main concern is that I would like to switch to another anti-depressant(specifically Celexa) but I do not have insurance and do not have the money to afford a prescription. I have made due with samples of Prozac from my doctor but I cannot continue to do that. Can anybody help me or have any advice?!
