Bill - Yup. (There have been rare case reports of SSRIs in combination with buspirone causing seizures. I don't know the incidence, but I believe there have only been a few cases). - Cam

Like Cam said, yup.
Buspar is funny though. It can be magic and have no side effects at all, or it can be a nightmare with all kinds of weird side effects. Some people are real sensitive to it, while to others it's like water. But combining it with Paxil isn't uncommon.

> JohnLDo the two drugs work very differently? Do they complement each other? I know paxil increases serotonin levels but I thought I read somewhere that buspar decreases serotonin levels. Thanks
