In some older textbooks the terms "psychopathic personality" and "sociopathic personality" are still used. What are the closest translations of these disorders in DSM terminology?

I think it is possible that "sociopathic personality" might come under "antisocial personality disorder" now. But I don't know what types of problems the older text was describing.

Antisocial personality disorder is more behavioral. The implication of "psychopathy" is that the individual lacks the capacity to distinguish right from wrong or to feel guilt. However I think this reflects more a change in our understanding of the condition.
