Does anyone have experience with this anti-anxiety product?

didn't work for me. I tried lots of different ones too. I have heard that it does work for some though. Can't hurt you in any case.

Thanks :) for the reply. I am into my 6th week starting tomorrow of being on medical leave due to anxiety attacks and I have to go back to work on Monday. I have Ativan but don't like it. I have taken 20mg of Celexa for 5 weeks and practice relaxation and breathing. I have counseling starting on Saturday. Just looking for another option here. Check out what I read about anxiety and panic.

"For short-term anxiety, the use of tranquilizers is best. If problems go on for a long time, or if there are frequent or disturbing panic attacks, longer-acting medicines may be preferred. Usually a few weeks or months of treatment are enough, but some people need to use medication for years. In full-blown disabling panic disorder, 70% of patients need to take medication indefinitely. Counseling and behavior techniques can also help the patient control and limit panic attacks. "

70% on medication indefinitely!!

I have used Rescue Remedy, and I also use it for my dog who has seizures. My understanding is that it is effective in urgent situations, but becomes less effective with longer term or regular use. You can always do the RR, and also look into other herbal alternatives.

Did you have to wait all that 6 weeks to see a counselor? Did your anxiety attacks continue at home?

Hey Rockets!
Personally, I think 1mg of klonopin a day sure beats the hell out of sitting in my office and shaking all day. Especially since I traded in my office for a classroom!

cheers,
bob
(ps ... I'll respond to your email Friday =^)

I have also used it sometimes but preferred Klonopin for "situational anxiety". If I know that I'm going into a stressful situation I take .5mg of Klonopin about an hour in advance and that helps get me through.

Also, I used to give it to my dog. She had bad separation anxiety. She would rip up anything she could find when we left her alone for more than 20 minutes. Rescue Remedy calmed her down and she has now learned to remain calm when we have to leave her for any period of time.

It is worth a try. I noticed that I had some response to it. I just prefer the Klonopin.

Yes, I have the Rescue Remedy & I also have Rock Rose or Rose Rock, same Bach Flower line, but more concentrated for Anxiety.

Before a meeting or a situation that will cause me anxiety, I take 4 drops of each under my tongue and I think it helps calm me down. Anyway, try the Rock Rose drops also, they work better on their own than the Rescue Remedy. Good Luck.

Thanks everyone for your input. Yes, I did have anxiety attacks at home but I moved to a new location and they have stopped. Maybe the place is haunted or something.. heh.

Got your email bob. Interesting musical tastes you have their :). Peace.
