Noa-lithium still helping?

Posted by S. Suggs on February 15, 2000, at 5:12:31

Hello Noa: I've read some of your previous posts and hope that at least the lithium is still working, at least as a safety net. The reason I say this is that I once stopped it and really regretted doing so. Just was curious how things were going. Blessings.

> S. Suggs, thanks for asking. Until about a week ago, I would say things had been steadily improving. Then, I suddenly started feeling exhausted and lethargic, unmotivated. This has evolved into feeling depressed and like my mind is all muddled. This morning I am going for a blood test to check my thyroid levels, because it is possible the lithium has made me hypothyroid. If that is the case, all I need is an adjustment to my synthroid and cytomel. If not, well, I don't know what to do next.
