My doc wants to help me obtain reboxetine, but says he can't write a script for a med that's not fda approved even if it's for an overseas pharmacy. Please help me with specifics on how to get this drug. I've run out of options; including ECT.

If you're in L.A., there may be room left in the study I just finished. If not, according to them, it should be available here around March 1, so not too much longer...
I don't really know much about how they determine these studies, especially since my study was on a couple of things and just incidentally used rebox., so this may be a COMPLETELY ridiculous proposal--I'm wondering if, since they're so desperate for clinical results in the U.S. in order for the drug to get approval, Pharmacia-Upjohn would allow individuals to participate through their doctors, as long as they followed the same methods and filled out the same paperwork as I had to do. Does anyone else know if this is just me being sleep deprived, or worth someone following up on?

Jeff, I got mine from IAS..took about three weeks. No script. Now if I can just get my doc to get me started on it. I'm in a bit of a crises so maybe she will be a little more flexible.
