I'm Bored!!!

And there's only so many times you can mess up your house so you can be busy cleaning it up.

I hate not having something to get up to.

Lists

You know what I'm really doing - trying to get rid of a lot of junk.

When I'm down, I tend to write a lot of lists about things I need to do, about things I want to change, about things I'm interested in. I would die if anyone actually found the thousands of lists I have that all seem to be exactly the same. From the list I made 5 years ago when I left school, to the one I made yesterday, I'm certain they are all so similar. Haven't I managed to do ANYthing in 5yrs?

So I'm trying to get rid of lots of clutter and crap so that nobody else will stumble upon it. Also, so that when my brother returns in May, he can take over my flat and I'll be a free woman, to travel or move or whatever. But you can't do that when you own 6 pairs of black heels, or when you lug around 7 notebooks of lists and ramblings!

I'm embarking on my own list now, and realize my old ones were the same old lose weight and exercise more and travel ones. So I decided to be a little more selfless and focus on charitable things this year, getting involved in a children with disabilities riding program (I have a horse so that's doable), maybe fostering a child, etc. I don't know if I'll actually do anything but writing it down is a first step. Good luck with your resolutions, and do keep the heels at home :-)- judy

Hey Rach - have you ever tried to makes lists REALLY detailed, so that you can ACTUALLY achieve some of the stuff on the list?

I love doing it that way. It reads a bit silly, but can make ya feel a bit better.

For example, Bathroom: - put down tiolet lid
- close cupboard doors
- flush toilet
- put toothbrush where it should go
- put lid on toothpaste
- hand towel up
etcetera

I love lists & love actually crossing things off, so I make really detailed ones that INCLUDE things that I DO do - on a daily basis!!!!

good luck - I'm in a 'weeding out' phase also.

luv, Kath
