Boy, telephone, telegraph, tell Greggy....just kiddin....he was right....there is a lot of smooching going on. It's a real hoot to be smoochin at 50. My sweetie pie is here in Austin now, in 'our' house even as I write. Would love for you to meet him.
There is a bit of arm wrestling over who will get the computer (he actually WORKS on it! can you imagine?!), and who is gonna load/download what. It's worked out really well so far (I'm writing this at 11:43 pm, the first time I've been able to get on all day...). Of course, this is still 'good impressions' month...8-)
All in all, it has been just great. We are alike in so many ways...both real independent, loner types, we give each other space, and make sure we have time together (a priority).
Hey!! We could all get together for coffee at Starbuck's or CC's or something.
Other than the smooching, we laugh a LOT. And play. His sister sent us a cheesecake (oh god, it was heaven) and it was packed with dry ice, and we had as much fun with the dry ice and water in the sink, as we did eating the cheesecake. My first dry ice experience.
Good to hear from you Phil, since you ignored all my emails (a little holiday guilt for you)...8-D Maybe you could find it in your holiday heart to touch base some time....oooh, more holiday guilt...
