Hi Rach - which 'current events'?

How particularly exciting about your performance!!!!!!!!

Break a leg (as they say) - what a weird saying eh wot?

I posted in SocialBabble, Rach.

I don't know what to do, if anything with regard to Tina.

I'm off to see Elissa tonight. Taking my son, Jay. He's in an ADD study through the University of Guelph & has to go for a blood test tomorrow..I want to go tonight so as not to be stresed out about getting there in time tomorrow.

I'm really looking forward to seeing 'Lily'. It'll be the first I've seen her since Frank's memorial celebration on November 11th.

Best of luck Rach. warm hugs, luv, Kath

I've replied over on PSB.

I've had discussions about where break a leg came from. One theory is that it has something to do with the performance being so great that you bow so many times, your leg breaks!

Have a safe, enjoyable trip. I'm so antsy, we've been building up to this performance for the entire year. Arrggh! I might just go insane...

:) Love ya too, Kath.

I had the worst dress rehearsal in the world the afternoon of the performance. Everything that could go wrong did.

But the performance was the absolute best! The crowd was amazing, they just lapped up everything and gave so much applause and cheering. It felt so fantastic, hearing how much everyone enjoyed themselves and that they were completely enthralled with a 3hr show!

I was on such a high, but of course that meant I hit a bit of a low. But I'm getting all excited again now, just thinking about how great the performance was.

Looking around now for my next project! Especially considering I have absolutely nothing to do. Although, first things first, I need to find a job. Have an interview tomorrow, so hopefully that goes well.

I loved every second of being on that stage. I wanna be back there! :)

Aww, shucks.

Unfortunately, I was so caught up in the performance that I never got any photos. There is a video, though, so I'm hoping that arrives soon so I can watch it and see how many mistakes I actually made!!!

It was a big mixture of everything and anything. One dance flowed into another, so it was like a contemporary dance, into classical, then jazz, funk, tap etc... with a bit of acting and singing thrown in for good measure. Quite a long show - 1.5hrs first act, 20min interval, 1hr 15min second act.

Can't wait for that vid...
