Knock knock?

Posted by Racer on November 7, 2002, at 19:03:14

Hello, may I come in for a quick visit?

I posted my latest situation over at the social board, but found some familiar names here and wanted to say "hi!"

So, how the hell are you?

Well, I'm confused.....

I responded to your message, thinking this can't be the 'old' Racer because she has a new name now. Have I been wrong all this time?

Either way, how are you??

My response to your message on social was about Coral, the one person I know who has "recovered."

Don't be confused...

It's me, I don't have a new name here -- although I married my SO this summer, so I have a new name Out There...

Overall, I'm feeling strong, but I am definitely in avoidance of things that are totally stupid. And once I start avoiding something, it grows and grows and grows into a terrible monster that will eat me if I even look at it! Oh, no!

(Maybe I shouldn't read the sorts of books I read?)

Anyway, I thought I'd ask the Wise Ones for input.

Does anyone ever totally get over it? Whoops, my husband wants my input on cooking breakfast now...

Hi, Racer,

I responded to your message on Social (Thanks, Shar, for thinking of me). Yes, yes, yes . . . there is REAL LIFE on the other side of hell.

Hi Racer - I work with a woman who has 2 bouts of depression. She has gotten over both of them and over the past 2 years has dealt with her 15 year old's 2 suicide attempts & his 'finally-diagnosed' depression without becoming depressed herself!!! So I guess there's hope!. Smiles & hugs, Kath
