Hi
My doc is putting me on valproic acid for a deep, very long-lasting depression. Anyone have good/bad experiences with it?....I am concerned that it will contribute to an already deep fatigue.
Thanks.

My experiences might not be average:
I developed a focus I hadn't known I was missing. Finished projects; cleaned house; etc.
I gained weight.
I quit having migraines that had been present since a childhood head injury.
I itched.
I found it really mellowed out my personality which is (still) very abrasive.
I let people take advantage of me.
All things: I'm still thinging of going back on because the good did outweight the bad and after a 7 year lapse the headaches are starting back up.
