About those pics...once you've got a good series you should let all of us vote on our most favorite and then that could be your feature Dr. Bob PIC of the Month. What do you think?

That's a great idea, but I don't want to get carried away. It's fun to play around a little, but I don't want this to turn into Picto-Babble. :-)

Hi, Dr. Bob!
I like this photo--are you in your office?! This image is really good with the sun shining through your window, a potted plant ("snake" plant?), your books within reach, you appearing to be at your computer looking back at me when I check your site. Stay with the spectacles--scholarly, yet approachable :-)
But why no color? Are you using a digital camera and uploading or a scanner? Whatever... it's fun, and I can't say that about many things in my life right now.
Thanks for the experience, LOL

I hope "Dr. Doodie" was speaking more in jest than sarcastically. I think it is very healthy and even necessary for boards like this to have some lighter moments, as evidenced by Cait's post. Dr. Bob's pics sure seem to have caused a spark, so...KEEP IT UP, DR. BOB!
