Hi, everybody,
I thought I'd let you know about the University of Chicago Department of Psychiatry Grand Rounds lecture series on the Internet:
Next, on Monday, January 18, at 11 am Chicago time (6 hours earlier than GMT),will be "Treating Traumatic Memories", by Frank M. Ochberg, MD, Professor of Psychiatry, Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI.
If you have an Internet connection and a Macintosh (or another computer with a sound card and a speaker), you should be able to listen in. These presentations are still only available live for now (we're not able to make recordings or transcripts yet, sorry).
More information, including how to get the *free* RealPlayer software that you'd need, is at:
http://http.bsd.uchicago.edu/~psychiatry/grounds/
I'll be experimenting with sending video using "webcam" software, so you should be able to watch with your web browser, too, if you want.
If any of you give this a try, please let me know how what you think. We need feedback from your end. Thanks!
Bob
