Simus,

I've had a look over your shoulder, and you know what? That black veil looks really atrocious on you!! Auck!~

Hey, that do-gooder hat laying in the corner would bring out the beauty of your heart. Put that one on!!

Hugs,

Sandy, Simus is probably away from the computer having a good cry. She will come back, because she cares about you and she will want to know if you have posted again.

I'm sorry things had to happen the way they did, but it will all be okay, in the end. Everything has a reason.

I will stay up with you and wait for Simus to respond:)

Hey there,

I have to get up in 5 more hours. Those lovely policemen pick the best times to come a-visiting, don't they? Maybe I should return the favor to them. Ha!

Are you sure she is okay? I feel so bad that all this happened. She wasn't at fault. And I should have just gone back to bed.

Gosh darn it, I feel responsible for her hurt feelings. She has such a big heart, and I managed to stomp on it in my few hours of knowing her. *smirk* Can't have too many friends like me! Lol.

I really need to get to bed or noone will be getting up in the morning, since I'm the official alarm clock around here.

I'll check back later in the morning. It's 2am here now.

God bless,
Sandy

Sandy, I am sure Simus will be all right, especially after she reads your messages. We will wrap her up in our arms and remind her that she is loved and respected here.

It is only 10pm where I am, so I can stay up quite awhile longer. You get some sleep; it has been a rough day for you.

May the peace that passeth understanding pass over your spirit as you rest tonight. ...jlynne

sandy,

It is good to hear you are fine. :)

communicating by just written word, can often lead to a wrong conclusion. Because in this form of communication you don't have the visual physical clues you get when talking directly to someone. ( I personally know this because last week I wrote a memo at work and others read it as sarcastic.. when that was not my intent..written communication it indeed tricky)

I am not defending anyones actions, but it is always better to err on the side of caution, when
you believe ones life maybe at stake.

Also perhaps leagally, as he does run the board i believe and as a Doctor, who has taken an oathe.. maybe Dr. Bod had no choice, but to act as he did.

What I would try to look at as all the love and support the people here have for you..and how wonderful that all is.

and again, I am glad your doing better.

and i hope you continue to reach out and get more help ..so that life can be a wonderful thing again.

Dr. Bob,

Thank you for getting back to us. I appreciate that.

I had a long cry in bed last night. I was not "embarrassed" or "ashamed" by the police showing up. I felt betrayed and threatened. And I certainly didn't want my kids to be aware of any of this happening with their mum.

Some people just don't want to be saved, when there really is nothing else. But I'll tell you what. When (or "if") the time comes for "that walk", I'll give you a heads up. How's that?

Just no more surprises, please. They make me feel lousy. Lol.

It's another day. Where have you been? Everyone is worried about you, hun.

I'm actually going back to bed this morning. The kids and I didn't get much sleep last night, and the morning is too bright. Lol! I'll be back later when I catch a few more winks.

Don't be sad, Simus. You're not responsible. You really are not!

Hugs,

Hey Ya'll
I know you feel violated right now.I know you are probaly upset with Dr. Bob for taking action but it is actually his leagal duty. A Dr. or a thereapist is by law made to report any threat made by a person to harm themselves or another or harm being done to them. Though it may be passing thoughts, Sandy said a lot of things that made all of us think she was going to harm herself. She also made it sound as if her children were being neglected. Dr. Bob was just doing what he professionaly felt was just. Sandy I wish you could have been warned before some crazy police pounded on your door and your privacy was blown to bits, but you did have all of us really worried about your life. Even if this has been a bad experience, you know that people care about you that much.
Also, Simus. You did the right thing by asking Sandy to talk to us. We are a family and want others to be able to experience that. You did nothiing wrong and should not blame yourself. You are a great family member and it would be a terrible loss if you left us. We love you and think your do gooding heart is much more attractive then a black veil... how 1980s Madonna can you get, are you wearing lace black gloves as well? LOL. Come back.... we miss you!
Love and Blessings,
Lexy

Hey Girls,
Unfortunatley, it is the general thought that the meds do not work as well before our lovely time of the month. I know Mrs C., LynneDa, KathrynLex and I have had that convo many times!!! However, the cycles do seem to get better as the months go on. The first month I was a wreck, second month tearful and moody but better, this month I have been irriatable but not crying or snapping, Ive got about 5 days to go and am doing OK. I am hoping that as time goes on they cycles continue to improve. Hope this helps!!!!
God Bless,
Lexy

yeah thats how i tottaly feel, its like consitant anxiety/spaciness although it isnt always strong and it makes me feel as though the meds have turned their backs on me or so to speak..i know that i have to increase my dose soon too. I got my 'time of the month' today so i hope it was only that which has been causing this feeling. Thanks Lexy for the info about how we werent the only ones who noticed this, and it does help knowing that this too will get better. I am starting the BC pill this month so i hope this will too help.

Thanks for the posts Em and Lexy, it feels so much better knowing that its normal.

;)

I usually feel a lot better after the first day of my period! Hope you do to, the months progress it gets better. Mag.. BE CAREFUL about the birth control pill, I took allese 28 and it is the reason I had to get on lexapro in the first place. I had never had a depression symptom in my life until that pill! Make sure your doc. knows whats going, Allese broke my life and I am now picking up the pieces!!!!

Hey Lexy, i was worried about going on the pill because back when i first started with anxiety/depression was 5 years ago and i was on the pill at the time and i tottaly stoped cause i didnt want to have any drugs in my system, i became very medicine-phobic which i am getting better at and is one of the reasons why i am going to try taking them again. I never have taken alesse but i dont think it was the pill that caused my anxiety(but you never know).

Can i ask how long you were on them before you started getting these horrible side effects?
i am going to monitor how i feel after taking them for a while and i did tell my doctor that i am going on these, i was very concerned about it.

the ones i am trying now are called Triquilar 28, my sister has had good experince with these and suggested them to me.

:)thanks for the heads up, i always get funny looks when i raise concerns about the pill:P

hey guys...im on apri 28 (bc pills) and have been since i was 20 (26 now). i have never had problems with anxiety from the meds...i had it way before that...lol. i think if you try to be on a low-dose estrogen one (ask your gyno) they may have fewer s/e's.

i feel so spaced out today! tomorrow should be the first day of my period...but i was so anxious today i almost called my do! em

Apparently, Dr. Bob sent them out again. This time the 2 cops sat with me for quite some time, trying to decide what to do. I was a good girl, though, and they couldn't find a reason to haul me off.

I guess they had been looking for me earlier in the day. Then they went to the apartment office and stated they needed to find me on an urgent matter. THEN they called my next of kin, who is my mum. Scared her half to death.

The police said that if they couldn't find me, they were going to put out an all-points-bulletin for me.

Is this over now, Dr. Bob? I would like my privacy back again.

Sandy
