I appreciate the work you do here and the money you put into this site. You deserve to be compensated. I think these ads are just going to take some getting used to. I just hope the ads are bringing in a lot of money.

My adblock blocks them out, for anyone who doesn't like ads in general.
I use firefox, and they have a pretty effective adblock plug-in.

I think the ads are kinda randomly generated. I get new ads when I open the same post again sometimes.

It hasn't made any difference to the speed on my machine, which has random stutters (and is worst on babblechat).
I don't mind the ads because they are way down at the bottom of the screen and I have to scroll down to see them. If the post I'm reading doesn't require me to scroll down I don't see the ads anyway.
I say, if the site needs revenue from having ads in order to keep going, it's innocuous enough fo me. I'd prefer this to having to pay even a nominal fee to access babble. And it's better than flashing, animated visual distractions that many other ads offer.
